11/6/2021 Proctored Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) Licensing Exam downtown Chicago


This ANSI-CFP approved testing is required by the State of Illinois and City of Chicago. Take the test with a computer or with paper/pencil.

The testing site is at 444 N Michigan Avenue, Suite 1200 in Chicago

Proctored testing begins at 1:00 p.m.; requiring a picture ID

Need a proctored food protection manager exam in Chicago? Complete this food licensing test (after an approved 8 hour course) and get the Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) certification for Illinois. This exam also qualifies you for the Chicago FSSMC (Food Service Sanitation Manager’s Certificate) license.

A Certified Food Protection Manager, also known as the Person-in-Charge must be on-site when food is prepared or served. Most state public health departments, including Illinois, Wisconsin & Indiana require successful testing for a five year certification. Certified Food Safety Programs provides several options for testing.

Choose either the ServSafe or Always Food Safe (AFS) national licensing exam. Both tests comply with the ANSI Conference for Food Protection (CFP) requirements for the person-in-charge.

This Saturday exam is given at 1:00 p.m. The testing site is at 444 N Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago, Suite 1200. Convenient to public transportation, paid parking is available nearby.
