Need a proctored food protection manager exam in the near suburbs just north of Chicago? Complete this food licensing test (after an approved 8 hour course) and get the Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) certification for Illinois. The Chicago FSSMC (Food Service Sanitation Manager’s Certificate) license requires the same course and exam. A Certified Food Protection Manager must be on-site when food is prepared or served. Our CFPM testing program qualifies the Person-In-Charge for this responsibility. Although called by different names, most state public health departments require successful testing for the person-in-charge of a food operation. In Indiana, for example, this exam provides a Certified Food Handlers License. However, in Wisconsin, the same exam identifies as Food Manager Certification.
You will be given the ServSafe national licensing exam. The test (after an approve course) complies with Illinois and the ANSI Conference for Food Protection (CFP) requirements for the person-in-charge. Most local & state licensing boards also accept this exam for food safety licensing.
We offer the proctored exam as part of the one day course. View this option at the course page However, completing an approved on-line course is also acceptable. The licensing examination begins at 5:00 p.m., so arrive fifteen minutes in advance. And, a complimentary review begins at 4:00 p.m..
This testing site is in the western suburbs of Chicago at 490 West Lake Street, Suite 102 in Roselle, Illinois. Plenty of free parking is available in the building’s lot.
