Need a proctored food protection manager exam in the near suburbs just west of Chicago on a convenient Saturday afternoon? If you have already taken the approved 7 hour course, required by the Illinois Department of Public Health, we can provide the necessary proctored exam.

You will obtain the five year Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) certification for Illinois, upon successful testing and required course attendance (on-line or in-person). The Chicago FSSMC (Food Service Sanitation Manager’s Certificate) license requires the same course and exam. A Certified Food Protection Manager must be on-site when food is prepared or served. Our CFPM testing program qualifies the Person-In-Charge for this responsibility.

Although called by different names, most state public health departments require successfully completely the national approved proctored food protection manager exam for the person-in-charge of a food operation. In Indiana, for example, this exam provides a Certified Food Handlers License. However, in Wisconsin, the same exam identifies as Food Manager Certification.

You can choose either the ServSafe or the National Registry of Food Service Professionals national licensing exam . Both tests comply with Illinois and the ANSI Conference for Food Protection (CFP) requirements for the person-in-charge. Most local & state licensing boards also accept this exam for food safety licensing.

We also offer the proctored food protection manager exam as part of the one day course. View this option at the course page However, completing an approved on-line course is also acceptable. The licensing examination begins at 4:30 p.m., so arrive fifteen minutes in advance. And, a complimentary review begins at 3:30 p.m..
