Description
Need a proctored food protection manager exam in the suburbs west of Chicago? Complete this food licensing test (after an approved 8 hour course) and get the Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) certification for Illinois. The Chicago FSSMC (Food Service Sanitation Manager’s Certificate) license requires the same course and exam. A Certified Food Protection Manager must be on-site when food is prepared or served. Our CFPM testing program qualifies the Person-In-Charge for this responsibility. Although called by different names, most state public health departments require successful testing for the person-in-charge of a food operation. In Indiana, for example, this exam provides a Certified Food Handlers License. However, in Wisconsin, the same exam identifies as Food Manager Certification.
Choose either the ServSafe or National Registry (NR FSP) national licensing exam. Both tests comply with the ANSI Conference for Food Protection (CFP) requirements for the person-in-charge. Most local & state licensing boards for food safety licensing accept these exams.
Certified Food Safety Programs offers the proctored exam as part of the one day course. View this option at the course page However, completing an approved on-line course is also acceptable. The licensing examination begins at 3:30 p.m., so arrive fifteen minutes in advance. And, a complimentary review begins at 2:30 p.m..
